Then, last week Michelle and Herb received the news that the previously mentioned baby was once again a possibility. Monday their social worker called them with confirmation and Tuesday they became parents. How's that for spontaneous parenthood?
So this baby, who is named Levi, who everyone instantly loved, who our hearts were broken for, has been placed where I think he has always belonged - in the loving arms of his mom and dad.

ReplyDeleteSweet blessings, and much love to you all.
ReplyDeleteoh what a beautiful post to read! It gave me goosebumps! And that baby would melt anyone's heart... he is gorgeous!! congratulations to your friends. God is good and it often seems like before the full blessing comes a trial of disappointment. I am so glad this baby will get all the love he deserves.
ReplyDeletehappy WFW and God bless you...
God is good :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the new parents. I know exactly how they feel, as my daughter is a miracle baby, as well. Nothing like being handed a newborn and instantly knowing she (or he) is right where the Lord wanted them to be. That verse in Samuel is one my father used during my daughter's dedication service. That's been 24 years now. Our daughter just married last month and is still the joy of our life. Adopted children have their own struggles in life (as do the parents), but so does every child ever born. So happy for your friends, and for that sweet baby to have an instant family who wants and loves him.
ReplyDeleteAWesome! This is so precious! So happy for the family!
