I'm not a fashion blogger, but I am going to participate in
"What I Wore Wednesday" at The Pleated Poppy for the first time today! I'm not particularly proud of this "outfit" - I use that term loosely because it's not really an outfit at all. However, I did whip up the scarf I'm wearing in about 40 minutes last night!
You see, today was "Tie Dye Day" as part of Red Ribbon Week at the school where I teach. Red Ribbon Week is about saying no to drugs, so today's tie dye was to say "peace out to drugs". I only own one item of tie dyed clothing, and it was an old shirt from another school I used to teach at...which then became my painting shirt and had splatters on it. So, I took that shirt and used some online tutorials to create my tie dye tshirt scarf! It's so comfy I think I might make a "nice" one in a normal color to sport this winter!
So easy and great use of old tee shirts!
