Some of the best parts of my trip were exercise based. I ran my long run on Sunday morning in PERFECT weather. Clear blue skies, low humidity, and temps in the 60s. Plus I had my "road crew" along - Mom and Dad met me at mile 5 so I could refill my water bottle and they could snap some pictures. My mom was a great photographer!
The next morning, we woke up "early" (by retiree standards) so I could go to beach yoga! My mom and I road bikes 3.5 miles to the beach where yoga was taking place, then she walked while I did yoga, and we road home. The instructor, Rachel from Starfish Yoga, was awesome! If you're ever in the area, I high recommend checking out beach yoga!
It was a great stay - and so very wonderful to escape the snow for a few days and enjoy white powder on the ground in a different form! Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end - and I arrived back in the snowy north yesterday night. I tried my best to bring some warm temps with me!
